PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a case structure of air conditioner for an automobile capable of reducing a manufacture cost b realizing the common use of a case of a standard thermostat unit and an independent thermostat unit and enhancing an assembling workability of the case. SOLUTION: Since projection pin receiving portions 45, 46 as a support portion abutting to a side surface of a partition plate 31 and clamping a partition plate 31 are formed at a space side in a case as compared with case junction portions 41, 42 formed on an abutting end of respective case elements C1, C2, this partition plate 31 is omitted and a case C of a standard thermostat unit can be assembled. A case C of an independent thermostat unit can be assembled by clamping this partition plate 31 by the projection pin receiving portions 45, 46 of the case elements C1, C2.
