PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fishing rod allowing to well adjust a weight balance of the whole thereof. SOLUTION: A reel sheet 4 is formed by carrying out injection molding of a synthetic resin or a metallic member at a prescribed position of a base rod 1 and formed on the peripheral surface of the base rod 1 so that the base rod 1 penetrates the inside thereof. An elastic layer 9 is arranged on the peripheral surface of the reel sheet 4 except a mounting part 4a. Five cavity parts 9a formed by keeping same intervals around the circumferential direction are installed on the elastic layer 9. The cavity parts 9a are formed by extending from the near side of the elastic layer 9 to the axial direction and an approximately rectangular platelike balancers 10 are installed so as to be removable at the cavity parts 9a.
