PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a stamper exchanging device for forming an optical disk by which the exchange of a stamper is facilitated without taking much time. SOLUTION: A stamper exchanging unit component 14 having a stamper attached beforehand to a built-in stamper attaching surface is traveled on two parallel guide rails 17. The stamper exchanging unit component 14 is lowered in the position of the movable side template 22 of an optical disk metallic mold provided in parallel with the stamper exchanging unit component 14 in the lower surface of the traveling route thereof. Then, the stamper exchanging unit component 14 is automatically loaded on the movable side template 22.
