PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To control equipment not coping with an AV/C command. SOLUTION: In the case that a D/VHS 18 does not cope with the AV/C command, a microprocessor issues a remote control command, switches a built-in command output switch and outputs it to an IR commander 5. The IR commander 5 outputs corresponding infrared ray signals from an infrared ray light emitting part not shown in the figure to the light receiving part not shown in the figure of the D/VHS 18 based on the inputted remote control command.
