FARE RECEPTION SYSTEM AND FARE RECEPTION METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To receive the fare by radio communication even from an ETC vehicle that entered by mistake a non-ETC lane at the entrance of a tollgate like an ETC vehicle entered on an ETC lane in an ETC system which includes both ETC and non-ETC lanes. SOLUTION: A simple ETC antenna 12 is placed on a non-ETC lane A and held up over an on-vehicle unit 15 of an ETC vehicle that entered the lane A by mistake. Thus, the ETC processing is performed by the communication carried out between the unit 15 and an ETC lane controller 8 through the antenna 12.
