PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem caused by the fact that current position recognition using PHS, etc., is low in resolution and recognition using a GPS receiver costs more. SOLUTION: Reception state information depending upon a position is measured at all spots as objects of current position recognition and a reception state information-position information correspondence table is generated which has the reception state information and position information on the spots made to correspond to each other. Then corresponding position information is obtained by referring to the reception state information-position information correspondence table according to the reception state information depending upon the current position measured or obtained by reception by using channels to one or plural base stations 101 and the current position of the mobile station 104 is estimated with high precision without any increase in cost.
