PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image storage device advantageous for reducing a device scale and lowering the cost of the device. SOLUTION: The plural kinds of image data are inputted from input terminals 21-23 and stored in a second memory means 12. The plural kinds of the image data are read from the second memory means 12 and stored in the first memory means 11 of a large capacity. The plural kinds of the image data read from the first memory means 11 are stored in a third memory means 13. The plural kinds of the image data are written and read to/from the second and third memory means 12 and 13 by selector circuits 300, 302, 303, 304 and 305 switchable in a time division manner and the second and third memory means 12 and 13 are respectively constituted of a single buffer memory. Thus, the image storage device suitable for performing miniaturization, lowering the cost and being made into an IC for contributing to the improvement of the efficiency of design/manufacture is obtained.
