PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power amplifier allowed to be miniaturized and capable of reducing a distribution loss and a synthesis loss and realizing highly efficient signal propagation. SOLUTION: In the power amplifier for amplifying power by driving two power amplification elements 25, 26 in each half period of an input signal and synthesizing outputs from these elements 25, 26, phase inverters 10, 20 using air-core coils L1-L8 having a high Q value in a high frequency area as inductors are arranged on the preceding and succeeding stages of the elements 25, 26, the input signal is distributed into signals of the same amplitude and respectively reverse phases by the phase inverter 10 arranged on the preceding stage, the distributed reverse phase signals are amplified by the elements 25, 26 and the reverse-phase signals amplified by the elements 25, 26 are synthesized and outputted by the phase inverter 20 arranged on the succeeding stage.
