PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for providing a data communication service using a mobile network that can eliminate defects, caused when an external device connected to a mobile unit has an application similar to the function of the mobile unit receiving a data communication service. SOLUTION: Since a device, receiving the data communication service, can be identified by the combination of the identification by the protocol of a layer selectively performed by either of the mobile unit and the external device and the identification by a protocol performed using the mobile unit 100 with a mobile network 300, even if specifications of the external device 200 are set maliciously, the external device 200 cannot illicitly receive the data communication service.
