<p>The suction siphon for a flushing device, particularly a urinal, has an entry aperture (4) receiving flushing water and an outlet aperture (11) connectable to a disposal conduit (3). A channel runs from the inlet aperture to the outlet aperture, which has a bend (19) for accommodation of stop water (5). The channel (14) viewed in the flow direction beyond the bend has a cavity (9), through which a sump (10) is formed, which narrows the channel for the through passage of air. The cavity is arranged directly before the outlet aperture. The outlet aperture is formed by a horizontally running outlet connection (12). The cavity is formed by a deflector bend (8) between a leg (7) and the outlet end (12).</p> |
