PURPOSE: A compensation for viewing advertisement method is provided to transmit advertisement data to a client terminal over the Internet, to enable the client to view the advertisement in an offline or online state and transmit a log file on viewing the advertisement to a server system, and to compensate the client for viewing the advertisement so that it can increase an advertisement effect. CONSTITUTION: The method comprises steps of a client accessing a server of an advertisement data supplier over the Internet, the server searching for the accessing client in a member management database, the server transmitting an advertisement to the client if the client is a registered member, the client system executing the transmitted advertisement data in an offline or online state, the client system transmitting a log file on viewing the advertisement to the server when the client accessing the Internet, and the server compensating the client for viewing the advertisement after checking the log file.
