PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an AC motor drive in which regenerated power of an AC motor can be utilized effectively even if a converter has no recovery function. SOLUTION: A sodium-sulfur battery (NAS battery) 3 is connected between the DC output buses P, N of a converter 2 and power generated from an AC motor 5 is recovered by an inverter 5 in order to charge the NAS battery 3. |
