METHOD FOR BASE STATION SELECTION BASED UPON CONNECTION FAILURE HISTORY

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a base station selecting method which shortens an interruption time at handover time by shortening the time needed to connect a terminal to a base station and discriminatingly handling a handover terminal and a new start terminal. SOLUTION: The reasons why a terminal fails to connect are classified by connection failure reason kinds and if the terminal selects a connection- destination base station and tries to connect, but fails, the identifier of the selected base station and a history of connection failure reason kinds are stored on the terminal.
