The switch has an impact head which acts as the key and which is depressed for displacing a contact bridge (5) cooperating with 2 contact screws (6,6') into the off position and pulled for moving the contact bridge into the on position. The impact head is coupled to the end of a switch rod (4) acting on the contact bridge, by insertion in a key slot (26), with a coil spring (8) holding it against a retaining shoulder, its release effected by initial depression and subsequent rotation.
