PURPOSE: A method for constructing and managing a web site keeping a pet on the Internet is provided for a user to keep the real pet, and to make more active advertisement by serving the periodic banner to a user program. CONSTITUTION: The user downloads and installs a user installation program, a web browser which always connects to the web site during the log-in of the user, to the own PC. The web site sends the current condition information of the pet to the user via the web browser. When the user takes the action responding to the information, the step goes to next. For example, when the information that the pet is hungry is sent to the user in the behavior or sound, the user takes the proper action and goes to the next step. If the user takes care of the pet well, the score goes up. Otherwise, the condition of the pet gets worse and finally the pet becomes dead. Therefore, the user takes care of the pet continuously and even though the user works on the other site, the user should take care of the own pet by frequently visiting to the pet site. An advertisement sponsor expects more effective advertisement by putting the advertisement on the browser of the pet site.
