PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and device for obtaining a relational expression of liquid concentrations and microwave characteristics. SOLUTION: This device 10 is provided with a microwave characteristic measuring device 20 for liquid provided with a microwave irradiating part 20a and an analyzing part 20b, a liquid tank 30 of a known concentration, a fresh water tank 50 feeding water to the liquid tank 30, and a liquid discharging part 60 discharging the liquid inside the liquid tank 30. A liquid passage is formed so that the liquid is circulated between the liquid tank 30 and the microwave irradiating part 20a by a pump P. A microwave characteristic is measured in a state of liquid temperature maintained constant by a temperature control means, and then, a part of the liquid inside the liquid tank 30 is discharged from the liquid discharging part 60, the same amount of water is fed from the fresh water tank 50, and the liquid concentration is diluted a predetermined value for measuring a microwave characteristic at the same temperature. This procedure is repeated a number of times for obtaining the relational expression of liquid concentrations and microwave characteristics.
