PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dolly facilitating side-shifting. SOLUTION: A body has a fixed wheel 16 at the center of a bottom plate 18 and a rear free wheel 15R at the rear end. On a mounting bracket 22 for the rear free wheel 15R, an arm 25 extended to the front end is oscillatingly supported at its base end by a shaft 27. The extended end of the arm 25 is mounted with a floating member 30 on which a front free wheel 15F is mounted. A jack 41 is mounted between a receiving member 29 for the floating member 30 and the bottom plate 18, with its rod elongated up and down via a link mechanism by footing a pedal 48. When the pedal 48 of the jack 41 is footed to elongate the rod, the body I is pushed up at its front end while the arm 25 is oscillated, causing the fixed wheel 16 to be floated from a travel plane X. If a meal service vehicle is pushed perpendicularly to the moving direction, the front and rear free wheels 15F, 15R are turned to the same direction and moved in parallel.
