PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a brilliant copper phthalocyanine pigment having excellent dyeability and flowability in excellent productivity without using a grinding auxiliary. SOLUTION: This method for producing the copper phthalocyanine pigment, characterized by pigmenting crude copper phthalocyanine having an average primary particle diameter of 0.001 to 0.1μm in the presence of an organic solvent in an amount corresponding to a weight ratio of 0.5 to 3.0 to the amount of the used crude copper phthalocyanine in the absence of a grinding auxiliary.
