PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent stacked blanks from falling down when ascending the stacked blanks in shaping/separating the stacked blanks in order to feed a blank to a press machine. SOLUTION: A feeder is provided with roller chutes 3, 21 arranged inside/ outside a main body frame 1, a lifting roller chute 6 divided into a width smaller than a width of a blank 35 at an intermediate section of the roller chute 3 inside the man body frame, a transfer apparatus to move the stacked blanks 20 placed on the roller chute 21 on to the lifting roller chute 6, a lift cylinder 15 to carry the stacked blanks ascending the lifting roller chute 6 into a floating apparatus arranged above the main body frame and a means to prevent the roller 5 from rotation during ascending the lifting roller chute 6.
