PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mouse trap capable of satisfying such needs that the greatest possible number of mice, which recently continue to increase and increase in number, would be caught at a time, and that the trapped mice would be treated while lookers-on do not see the mice. SOLUTION: In this mouse trap, one of the side faces of a trap container is cut out to form an outlet 2 for taking-out the mouse and further the side face is equipped with rails into which a cover 6 is fallen, and the other side faces of the container are each cut out to form an approach 3 which is joined directly to a cylinder 4 for leading the mouse into the container. Thus, the mouse going in the container through the approach 3 is obstructed with an acute-angled shaven member 41 attached to the cylinder 4, and therefore the mouse cannot escape from the container to be caught.
