PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a camera equipped with a function capable of easily matching the angle of view even from the front side of the camera at the time of photographing with a self-timer or the like and of making a little child or the like turn his glance to the camera when photographing the child. SOLUTION: A display part (front side display part) 21 for image display is provided on the front side of the main body of camera, where an image pickup part is located, and a display part (back side display part) 28 for image display is located on the back side of the main body of camera as well. The animation interesting for an object, image of his parents or image of his pet is displayed on the front side display part 21 and a photographer can confirm the angle of photographing view on the back side display part 28 on the other hand. The file of a memory card 86 can be utilized as an image attractive for the object and when preserving the photographed image, the file of the photographed image is recorded on the memory card 86 in relation to the file of the image displayed on the front side display part 21.
