PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To protect an optical fiber by preventing a sheet from buckling when an optical fiber sheet is bent. SOLUTION: In the optical fiber sheet 1A wherein the optical fiber 3 is laid in the flexible sheet 5, sheet reinforcing members 8A preventing the generation of buckling in the sheet 5 when the optical fiber sheet 1A is bent are incorporated in, for example, the inner layer of the sheet 5. When the optical fiber sheet 1A is bent, the sheet reinforcing members 8A take charge of compressing force exerting on the inside of bending of the sheet 5 to reduce it, and the generation of buckling in the sheet is prevented. Thus, the optical fiber is protected when the optical fiber is bent.
