PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide electronic equipment capable of using an arbitrary image as a map capable of displaying a present position. SOLUTION: A latitude/longitude setting part 21 prepares a latitude/longitude information file corresponding to an image file supplied from an image acquiring part 20 on the basis of the operation of a user inputted through a user input part 6. A map managing part 22 holds the latitude/longitude information file supplied from the latitude/longitude setting part 21 and holds the information of a held latitude/longitude information and the latitude/longitude information file as registered information. When the location information of the present position is acquired through a GPS unit or PHS(R), on the basis of the information of latitude and longitude contained in the latitude/longitude information file, the present position is displayed on the image displayed on a display part 2. |
