PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for production by which trunks type disposable underpants directly disposable after use can be mass-produced within a unit time. SOLUTION: This method for producing the trunks type disposable underpants 1 comprises (a) a step of feeding inner sheets 2A and 2B to the front in the longitudinal direction and attaching panels 5A and 5B to the inner surfaces of the inner sheets 2A and 2B, (b) a step of superimposing the inner sheets 2A and 2B and securing the inner surfaces of the inner sheets 2A and 2B at a first joining line B1, (c) a step of cutting the inner sheets 2A and 2B at a first to a third cutting lines C1, C2 and C3 and forming an opening region O in the inner sheets 2A and 2B, (d) a step of feeding outer sheets 3A and 3B having elastic members 8 attached thereto to the front in the longitudinal direction and superimposing the inner surfaces of the outer sheets 3A and 3B on the outer surfaces of the inner sheets 2A and 2B, (e) a step of securing the outer surfaces of the inner sheets 2A and 2B to the inner surfaces of the outer sheets 3A and 3B at a second joining line B2 and (f) a step of cutting the inner sheets 2A and 2B and the outer sheets 3A and 3B at a fourth to a sixth cutting lines C4, C5 and C6 and providing the individual underpants 1.
