<p>The invention concerns a gearbox (10) comprising at least a shift torque shaft (18) bearing a first stationary reverse gear (42) with straight bevel and a fourth stationary forward gear (28), and a transmission main shaft (22) bearing a second stationary reverse gear (46) with straight bevel and a third forward idler gear (30) adapted to be synchronised by an axial synchromesh (34) then interlocked on the transmission main shaft (22), and wherein a countershaft (45) bearing a stationary reverse idler gear (44) with straight bevel slides axially to mesh the idler gear (44) with the first (42) and second (46) gears. The invention is characterised in that it comprises controlled means to brake the shift torque shaft (18) with the forward gear synchromesh (34), to synchronise the speeds of the stationary reverse and forward gears (42, 44, 46) before they are mutually meshed. The invention is applicable to a robot control gearbox.</p> |
