The invention relates to a cellulose sausage casing consisting of at least three concentric regenerated cellulose layers. The two layers in contact wit h the outside, namely the casings with the biggest and smallest diameters, are made of colorless and transparent regenerated cellulose and the inner casing or casing are made of regenerated cellulose to which other substances such a s pigments, smokes, flavor extracts, spices or plastic proteins.
