FLAME-RETARDANT AND ULTRAVIOLET LIGHT-RESISTANT TRANSPARENT ORIENTED FILM AND METHOD OF PRODUCING THE SAME

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a flame-retardant transparent polyester film which has a thickness of 5 to 300μm, has excellent optical properties, mechanical properties, drawing property and profitability, and does not embrittle even at a high temperature. SOLUTION: This transparent polyester film containing at least one flame retardant soluble in the polyester, characterized in that the flame retardant is directly compounded by a master batch method in a process for producing the film. The master batch is fed under pressure-reducing and stirring conditions, while gradually raising temperature.
