PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ink-jet printer which can prevent a useless printing operation when ink is used up in the middle of printing. SOLUTION: This ink-jet printer 1 detects a quantity of the ink remaining in an ink cartridge 20 set to a body, and counts and displays the number of printable sheets to a display part 5. A user who is to print a plurality of the number of sheets can simply judge whether or not the ink is used up in the middle of the printing, and therefore the useless printing operation because of the lack of the ink in the middle of the printing can be prevented. |
