PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device for coiling a steel strip that low cost and miniaturization are attained and also the coiling efficiency of the steel strip is improved. SOLUTION: This device is constituted so as to coil a supplied steel strip 1 on a mandrel 11 into a coil shape corresponding to the rotation of the mandrel 11 while attracting and holding the strip to the mandrel 11 with magnets 12 embeded in the mandrel 11 and unnecessitate a belt wrapper which requires a meandering follow-up mechanism, also has a complicated constitution and takes large installation region and long moving time.
