PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a brake fluid composition having excellent metal corrosion resistance which substitutes for a polyether monool and its boric ester having been used as conventional brake fluids with insufficient metal corrosion resistance. SOLUTION: The brake fluid composition comprises 90-99.99 mass % boric ester (E) of a specific glycol ether (A) and 0.01-10 mass % specific cyclic amine compound (B) and/or its salt (C).
