The invention relates to a device for collecting samples from a drum (2), a mill, or a mixer having a horizontal, or slightly inclined drum axis. The device comprises a centrally positioned bore which passes through a lateral wall (8) of the drum, a sleeve (4) which passes through and is fixed in said bore, a device (5) which is connected to the sleeve outside the drum and which opens and closes the passage through the sleeve and a sample-collection lance (6) comprising at least one drilling or groove-type recess (27) for receiving a sample. For sample-collection purposes, the sample-collection lance can be inserted through the open passage opening-and-closing device and through the sleeve into the drum. |
