PURPOSE: A method for driving a stand-by unit of a duplexing system is provided to improve the stability of a system by preventing data output interrupt between unload of a main unit and operation of a stand-by unit. CONSTITUTION: A main unit is unloaded(ST11). The first operational state information is output when a system clock is a rising edge(ST12). The second operational state information is output when the system clock is a falling edge(ST13). A stand-by unit receives the operational state information for OR-operating the first operational state and the second operational state information, thereby the third operational state information is generated(ST14). The stand-by unit confirms the third operational state information(ST15). If the third operational state information is a high level, the stand-by unit is operated for outputting data according to data output enable signal(ST16). If the third operational state information is a low level, the stand-by unit becomes tri-state(ST17).
