摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical device capable of easily and accurately adjusting a spot balance between emitted lights having different wavelengths and reducing the shifting amount of an objective lens for the adjustment like the case of ones for a CD and a DVD, an optical disk device using the optical device, and a method for adjusting the optical beam positions thereof. SOLUTION: In order to set the light emitting direction of, for example, a laser diode LD2 for a DVD among a plurality of laser diodes LD1 and LD2 along a normal optical axis OA2, the laser diodes LD1 and LD2 are inclined in common to be position-adjusted, alternatively the laser diodes LD1 and LD2 are fixed on a substrate 11, both are rotated within a surface before the fixing to overly adjust the light emitting direction of the laser diode LD2 to the normal optical axis OA2, and then the substrate 11 is rotated around the normal optical axis OA2 or its parallel axis to set the light emitting direction of the laser diode LD2 along the normal optical axis OA2. Then, the light emitting direction of the other laser diode LD1 for a CD is superposed on a normal optical axis OA1 by moving an objective lens.
