PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a non-contact data carrier having an antenna coil with a plurality of layers and capable of reducing the time and labor required for its manufacturing. SOLUTION: This non-contact data carrier 42 has 1st and 2nd antenna coils composed of a circulating line pattern formed on one surface 39A of an insulating substrate 39 and an IC chip 38 connected to one end of the inner circumferential side of the 1st antenna coil and one end of the inner circumferential side of the 2nd antenna coil. The outermost circumferences of the 1st and 2nd antenna coils are connected to each other, and their circulation directions from the innermost circumference to the outermost circumference are the same on the surface 39A. The substrate 39 is folded so that an area where the 1st antenna coil s wound around can be overlapped over an area where the 2nd antenna coil is wound around through an adhesive 34.
