PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air conditioner for preventing a condensation of a frame and an air cleaning unit. SOLUTION: The air conditioner comprises an air passage 4 for coupling a suction port 2 having a front surface and an upper surface of a housing 1 to an air outlet 3 having a front face lower part, an inverted V-shaped indoor heat exchanger 5 having a front part heat exchanger 5a bent in an L shape and a rear part heat exchanger 5b bent rearward from an upper end of the front part heat exchanger and wind shield plates 9a, 9b provided at both the bent parts, an air cleaning unit 7 mounted in a frame 6 and disposed at a windward side of the indoor heat exchanger, and a blower 8 arranged in the passage 4. In this case, the frame is mounted at both the shield plates 9a, 9b. Accordingly, a heat transfer from the indoor heat exchanger to the frame is eliminated when cooled. Thus, the condensation of the frame and the cleaning unit fixed to the frame can be prevented. |
