PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lock out device for at least one valve or more. SOLUTION: In a method without permitting movement or access to a valve actuator, the device is designed so as to be equipped around one or more valve actuators. The device comprises a housing and a cover incapable of being removed from the valve actuator by making them interlock around the valve actuator at a lock out position.
