PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a clamp device provided with a fluid pressure cylinder having a boosting function of pressurizing oil in a hydraulic cylinder by gas pressure of a gas spring for generating high pressure oil pressure so as to generate a strong energization force to energize a clamp arm to a clamp position by the fluid pressure cylinder. SOLUTION: A fluid pressure cylinder 1 of this clamp device C is provided with an oil-enclosed type oil pressure cylinder 2 in which oil L is enclosed to be sealed, and a gas-enclosed type gas spring 3 in which compression gas G is enclosed to be sealed, and the oil L in an oil chamber 11 in the hydraulic cylinder 2 is pressurized to be higher than gas pressure in a gas actuation chamber 21 in the gas spring 3, thereby a strong energization force is generated through an output piston member 12 in the hydraulic cylinder 2.
