The mounting is formed by a fixture (30) which is located on the inside of the rear opening (e.g. rear door) and supports the parts which form the articulated joint between the e.g. door and the bodywork structure (11), as well as supporting the parts (34) for locking the e.g. door. The inner wall panelling (24) and outer bodywork wall (28) are secured to the fixture.
