PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a synthetic resin molded object with a rib having a sink-free plate-shaped main body. SOLUTION: The synthetic resin molded object 1 with the rib having a plate- shaped main body 2 and at least one rib 4 provided on one surface 3 of the plate-shaped main body 2 is molded. At first, an intermediate body 23 consisting of a first main body constituting part 5 thinner than the plate-shaped main body 2 and the fiber sheet 8 impregnated with an evaporable liquid (w) provided along one surface of the first main body constituting part 5 is prepared. Subsequently, a molten synthetic resin is injected in a cavity 21 to which the fiber sheet 8 of the intermediate body 23 faces to impregnate the fiber sheet 8 with the molten synthetic resin to perform not only the evaporation of the liquid (w) and the molding of the composite layer 7 fused to the first main body constituting part 5 but also the molding of the second main body constituting part 6 constituting the plate-shaped main body 2 and the rib 4 provided on one surface 3 of the main body 2 in cooperation with the first main body constituting part 5 and the composite layer 7.
