PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a general-purpose combine facilitating the regulation of the front-and-rear position and rotating speed of a rake-in reel even in a high- speed reaping work for soybean or the like. SOLUTION: This general-purpose combine has a reaping unit 8 in front of a machine body 2, a steering section 9 equipped with a steering handle 91 for running gears 1 and 1 and the main speed change lever 94 for running use each set up on the machine body 2, and a threshing unit 5 on the machine body 2, wherein a plurality of control switches involved in the reaping unit 8 are concentratedly disposed in the main speed change lever 94, and these switches consist at least of the front-and-rear position control switch S4 for a rake-in reel 85 set in the reaping unit 8 and the rotating speed control switch S5 for the rake-in reel 85.
