PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an aerosol composition for depilation capable of providing a high hair removing effect and an aerosol product for depilation having excellent sprayability and preservability. SOLUTION: This aerosol composition comprises a stock solution containing an active ingredient, an alkali agent, an oil and fat component, a surfactant and water and a foaming agent and gradually foams after being discharged. The active ingredient is composed of a thioglycolic acid or its metal salt, the alkali agent is composed of a metal hydroxide, the oil and fat component is composed of a fatty acid and a higher alcohol, and a liquefied petroleum-based hydrocarbon being the foaming agent comprises isopentane or a mixture of >=70 mass % isopentane and <=30 mass % isobutane. The aerosol product is characterized by packing the aerosol composition and a propellant into an aerosol container of double structure.
