PURPOSE: A method for describing and recognizing data with the 5W1H principle and a hierarchical structure expression is provided to prepare and search a keyword for searching many documents based on the 5W1H principle. CONSTITUTION: The "mom" is corresponds to "what" in the "Tom s mom"(1), but the whole of the "Tom s mom" is a "who" of whole sentence. The "woke Tom up"(2) is what item and the "wake" is a verb(7) and the "Tom"(6) is what and who. The when(3) and the when(5) are in apposition with thereto. The "early" is how item, but when item as the whole sentence. The "why"(4) item comprises a verb and why items. The "why"(4) comprises "for" preposition and what item. The "a clock strikes 6 0 clock" is what item because the item is not corresponded to a person. But the "a clock strikes 6 0 clock" is included in who item based on the 5W1H principle.
