PURPOSE: A platform screen door system is provided to be easily openable without performing complicated operation such as pushing an emergency exit panel while continuously operating a lock release and automatically lockable after evacuation. CONSTITUTION: An emergency door panel(12) is opened and closed in turning, and a platform screen door system(10) locks the emergency door panel in closing state at ordinary time. The emergency door panel and the platform screen door system are featured by having lock pins arranged in the emergency door panel and switched to a lock position and a release position for releasing a lock; compression springs for always energizing the lock pins to the lock side; an operation lever for switching the lock pins to the release position against energizing force by the compression springs; and a shutter mechanism for holding the lock pins switched to the release position in the release position. The platform screen door system keeps the original shape even in position changes of a platform(4) or ceiling structure(8b) by not collecting stress at a connecting part of the screen door.
