METHOD AND DEVICE FOR MONITORING MOVING BODY

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a monitor device which can trace a moving body through enlargement and reduction by solving the problem that the moving body can not be traced since the size of the moving body in image pickup data does not match the size of a template image when the moving body is enlarged or reduced by zooming although the moving body can precisely be traced with a simple and inexpensive constitution by a template matching method. SOLUTION: A plurality of templates are generated by enlarging the reducing a moving body area extracted from image pickup data with a plurality of arbitrary magnifications and when the moving body is enlarged or reduced by zooming, template matching is carried out by using templates of enlargement and reduction rates corresponding to the sizes of the enlarged and reduced images, so that the moving body can be traced while being confirmed.
