SUPER SCALAR PROCESSING SYSTEM AND DATA PROCESSING METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a super scalar processing system and a data processing method for facilitating the strengthening of an architecture function. SOLUTION: This system is provided with an instruction fetch unit 102 for fetching an instruction set and an executing unit 104 equipped with a function for simultaneously executing plural instructions in parallel through the parallel array of functioning units. The instruction fetch unit 102 holds the prescribed number of instructions in an instruction buffer, and the executing unit 104 is provided with an instruction selecting unit connected to the instruction buffer for selecting an instruction to be executed and plural functioning units for executing an operation designated by the instruction. The instruction selecting unit is provided with an instruction decoder for judging whether or not an instruction to be executed is available and an instruction scheduler connected to each functioning unit for judging a related logic and each execution status for scheduling the start of the processing of the instruction through the functioning units.
