PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a chip-type composite electronic component superior in mass productivity. SOLUTION: The electronic component is provided with an insulating member 11, internal conductors 12 formed inside the insulating member 11, a first external electrode 14 connected to one end 13a of the internal conductor 12 and formed on a part of the surface of the insulating member 11, a resistor 15 formed on the other surface of the insulation member 11 after the insulating member 11 is formed, so as to be electrically connected to the other end 13b of the internal conductor 12, and a second external electrode 16 connected electrically to the resistor 15.
