PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a picture processor which obtains a power saving effect even in the case of interruption of execution of a job and restarts the interrupted job without trouble. SOLUTION: When it is prescribed timing to turn off a power source in the middle of execution interruption of the job, a digital copying machine writes data and the execution state of the interrupted job in a hard disk 108 to record the interrupted job, and the power source is turned off when recording of the interrupted job is terminated. When the power source is turned on, it is discriminated whether the interrupted job has been recorded in the hard disk 108 or not, and if it has been recorded there, data and the execution state of the interrupted job are read out from the hard disk 108, and processing of data of the interrupted job is restarted in accordance with the read execution state. |
