PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a variable displacement type gas compressor capable of correctly actuating a capacity control mechanism by a control plate, and improving follow-up performance of the capacity control mechanism. SOLUTION: A step 30 is provided in an outer circumferential surface 12a of a drive shaft 12 for rotating a control plate 9 to move, and a throttle part 40 of a constant gap is provided between an upper step surface of the step 30 and an inner wall surface of a sleeve 14 for slidably containing the drive shaft 12. A seal length L by the throttle part 40 is thus set to be constant regardless of a slide position of the drive shaft 12, flowing hardness of fluid passing the throttle part 40 is not changed through transfer to the minimum capacity, and as it is supposed that a control pressure Pc and an intake pressure Ps are not changed, the volume in a control pressure chamber 17 continues to be uniformly reduced by slide of the drive shaft 12, thereby moving speed of the drive shaft 12 and the control plate 9 interlocked with it is not slowed. |
