The setdown slide consists of a thin main body (2) to bear on and so bridge the two parallel template guide bars (11) and is recessed (3) for the copying sleeve (13) of the upper milling tool (10) lying on the body (2) along with the table (14). The sleeve (13) engaging the recess (3) can in this way be guided simultaneously along the inner edge of the template (11) and the inside rim of the recess (3). Reinforcement (5) along one edge parallel to the recess (3) counteracts any body (2) flexure under tool weight (10). The slide can be fixed in area (23) to allow milling templates to be fixed on template (11). An insert running in a keyway in the recess (3) ensures template adjustment as required with the aid of a key block on the body (2) underside to run in the template groove way. The block is fixed via screw hole (9) on the continuation of the recess center axis and a second semicircular recess (22) takes a graduated scale (16).
