摘要 PURPOSE: A porous cylindrical branch pipe of a heat exchanger is provided to improve the performance of a heat exchanger as well as to distribute the proper amount of refrigerant to each cooling circuit by changing the shape of a branch pipe therefor. CONSTITUTION: An upper and a lower surface(18,18') of a body(B) have convex shapes. Plural Cu pipe members are mounted through an Al fin member of a heat exchanger and connected with discharge ports(24) respectively. An intake port(22) is formed on the lower surface(18') to flow refrigerant. An orifice is formed on the intake port of a branch pipe(14) to apply flow property to the refrigerant. The plural discharge ports on the upper surface(18) are arranged with each pipe diameter gradually getting smaller to the edge from the center of the upper surface. One of the discharge ports having the maximum pipe diameter is connected with a cooling circuit at the highest position of the heat exchanger while another discharge port having the minimum pipe diameter is with one at the lowest position. The refrigerant flows through the intake port of the branch pipe having the convex upper and the lower surface. Then, the refrigerant is discharged out through the discharge ports. The resistance against the flowing refrigerant is reduced. Therefore, the efficiency of the heat exchanger is enhanced.
